Competitive Prices.  Our company is able to offer very competitive pricing because, unlike many other kitchen and bath remodeling companies, we do not have the huge expense of renting commercial space or operating a showroom.  We also do not have employees (such as showroom managers and marketing personnel) whose salaries must be passed through as overhead to the customer. 

Prices for the remodeling of a typical single family house kitchen start at approximately $30,000; a small townhouse kitchen would be less.  However, at this investment level, we can deliver to you a very nice new kitchen with nice cabinets, granite countertops, basic stainless steel appliances and fixtures, and new hardwood or tile flooring.  Starting prices would apply to projects where no walls are added or removed and the appliances and sink all stay in the same location.

Prices for the remodeling of a typical 5 x 8 bathroom start at approximately $10,000.  This price would include all labor and materials for the demolition, new tile tub surround with accent tiles, new tile flooring in a custom pattern (i.e., not the standard grid design), a reglazed tub, new vanity, marble countertop, mirror, and wall lighting, toilet, faucet and tub fixtures.  Starting prices apply to projects where the fixtures and plumbing are not relocated and no walls are added or removed.

Credit Card Payment.  Unlike most remodeling companies, we accept payment by credit card.  This provides our customers with the assurance that they will not make their initial project contract payment, only to have us disappear and not perform.  The customer is assured that if we do not complete the contract (which will never happen), they can get their money back from the credit card company.  (Please note that, unfortunately, there have been consumers who have entered into remodeling contracts with others and ended up losing a substantial amount of money when the contractor disappeared on them.)

Specials – Coupon.  Receive $500.00 off your project contract price when you mention this offer in our website.  This means $500 off the total agreed upon price.  You do not have to mention this discount until after we arrive at a mutually agreed upon project price.   

Specials – Referral Fee.  For our kitchen and/or bathroom remodeling customers, suppliers, or any person referring our services, we will pay you a $500.00 referral fee for every customer that you refer us to who enters into a project contract for either a kitchen or bathroom.  There is no limit on the number of referral fees that you can receive.  To receive the referral fee, you must send us an email (sharon@dameronhome.com) providing us with the name of the customer to whom you referred us.

Tips.  The overall cost of your kitchen or bath project will be greatly reduced if the location of the appliances and sink remain the same.  This is because relocating the sink (which would also necessitate relocating the dishwasher) will result in increased costs because of the extra plumbing that is required.  Similarly, relocating the range will necessitate relocating the venting and possibly also the dedicated outlet that serves the range.  Similarly, for bathroom remodeling, the cost will increase substantially if the toilet, bathtub, or sink are relocated.  In addition, these added expenses will not likely be recouped when the house is sold because relocating the fixtures will probably not add value.

If you plan to sell your home in the next few years, we recommend that you select neutral colors that will appeal to a wide range of potential buyers.  We also recommend that you buy the basic appliances and focus your investment on those areas that will give you the greatest return, which are the cabinets and countertop.  We also recommend that you consider the level of renovations that are done for homes in your price range and location.  This is because if you invest an amount greater than the typical remodeling investment for your price range and neighborhood, the likelihood is that you will not recoup those extra funds when you sell.
